Trump adviser Stephen Miller lied - and it matters

"So Trump sent out a new face, White House senior policy adviser and "young Gargamel" Stephen Miller".

Ch-ch-check out the terrific thrashings (below)! None reported seeing evidence of cue cards or a teleprompter.

The end result of this, though, is that our opponents, the media and the whole world will soon see as we begin to take further actions, that the powers of the president to protect our country are very substantial and will not be questioned. "They will be questioned by the Court. Alexander Hamilton and James Madison wrote about it in the federalist papers", he said. 'Well, aren't we king?'

"What they said to the White House was 'you have enormous powers commander-in-chief over issues of national security over issues of who gets cross our borders but you have to present evidence of a threat that justifies what you're trying to do, '" Ignatious added. That made Susan Rice the Sunday after Benghazi look smooth.

But critics have pointed to a series of troubling statements by Miller that displayed contempt for basic constitutional principles and, like Trump's more prominent spokesperson Kellyanne Conway, reek of dishonesty.

Scarborough and Brzezinski weren't alone in condemning Miller's performance.

'That sounds like a spokesman for Vladimir Putin. "Maybe he's just ignorant and maybe I shouldn't be so tough on him", Scarborough said.

Miller went on a number of news programs this weekend to make a number of bold claims, most notably continuing to defend the President's claims that millions of people voted illegally during the 2016 presidential election.

"Oh my God. It's so much worse than I ever thought", he exclaimed.
