Battlefield 1: EA tease the next extensions

Battlefield 1: EA tease the next extensions

Since "Battlefield 1" was released to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC last October, gamers have been eager to get their hands on even more new content.

DICE recently revealed the details on all four upcoming expansion packs for their first-person shooter Battlefield 1.

PC players can also try out Battlefield 1 for free this weekend, though options are a little more limited.

The third is "Turning Tides", which has a naval focus. In total players will gain 16 new multiplayer maps, 20 new weapons, new elite classes and 14 Superior Battlepacks.

If you have the Premium Pass, then each DLC will be available two weeks earlier from its worldwide release. DICE is setting up the gameplay around the snow covered ravines of Lupkow Pass and the skirmishes on the archipelago during the Albion assault. "They Shall Not Pass" also adds a new mode called Frontlines, the French army, and a Char 2C tank which is inspired by a real tank. Simultaneous engagements on the land, air, and sea are said to be utilized heavily in the Turning Tides expansion. A new destroyer and coastal class airship will be available, and players will take part in the Zeebrugge raid, and storm the beaches of Gallipoli. It is set to explore the most infamous battles of WW1 "born out of desperation and deadlock". Prepare to enter the Apocalypse.

Battlefield 1 is no doubt a great game but if you've read all of the reviews and seen all of the gameplay videos but still haven't purchased it, perhaps a free trial is going to change your mind.
