College dropout Mark Zuckerberg is finally getting that Harvard degree

The Facebook founder and CEO will be Harvard University's commencement speaker in May. However, a few of us know that the founders of these tech breakthroughs are college dropouts. Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates qualified but did not graduate at Harvard University.

Twelve years ago, Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to concentrate on developing his online social network platform which is now worth almost 400 billion dollars and is one of the largest companies in the world.

Harvard's president Drew Faust praised Zuckerberg's involvement in changing "the nature of social engagement in modern times". Bill Gates spoke at Harvard commencement in 2007, a fact that clearly wasn't lost on the Harvard communications department, which put together this video. Incidentally, Zuckerberg attended that address - at the time, his wife Priscilla Chan was graduating.
