Ivanka Trump Products See Increase in Sales During February

Abigail Klem, who took over as president of the fashion label after the election, confirmed the company's rapid growth online since last month, though she declined to provide specific sales figures.

"Since the beginning of February, they were some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand", Klem said in a statement.

In February, Ivanka Trump's clothing and accessories brand saw a spike in sales, according to the company's president and market research data.

An online retail research firm reported that sales in the US of products from the Ivanka Trump fashion line on Amazon were up by over 332% during January and February in comparison to the same two months one year ago. According to grabyourwallet.org, the boycott started October 11, 2016 in the wake of the Trump Tapes when a brand strategist realised that he can no longer in good conscience, shop at retailers that do business with the first family.

Slice Intelligence reports that USA sales of Ivanka Trump products on Amazon were up 332% in February compared to a year prior. However, in spite of this boycott, a leading e-commerce site stated that the sales of all the individual products and items of the fashion line by Ivanka rose online. Amazon has reportedly replaced Nordstrom, which previously dropped the brand, as the largest seller of Ivanka products. "To see such an extreme spike in one month is completely unheard of and came as a huge surprise to us", Sarah Tanner, Lyst's United States spokesperson, said. Purchases from her line were also up 148 percent at Macy's and nearly a third at Bloomingdale's.

The first daughter's ex-company and possible ongoing conflicts of interest have been in the spotlight in recent months. Ms. Conway was later counseled and the incident led to an investigation by the Office of Government Ethics, who recommended discipline.

Ivanka Trump stepped down from her role in managing the eponymous company after her father was elected president. Tanner told Fox News.

And a company spokesperson said sales of the brand were up by 21 percent in 2016 over the previous year's sales.

Critics of the Trump administration have called for a boycott of his daughter's line.

"A lot of people support Ivanka, even across both political parties", she told Refinery29.

"I think if a lot of people do a small thing and don't buy a certain brand it can effect the brand".
