United States ambassador to UN: Never trust Russian Federation

United States ambassador to UN: Never trust Russian Federation

During the interview, Haley's first since she began working for the Trump administration, she also defended the president's travel ban while reiterating that she is opposed to a ban on Muslim immigration.

The statement by Nikki Haley in a television interview broadcast on March 16 came on the same day that the U.S.

Haley, the daughter of Indian immigrants, told TODAY that she does not believe the president's order discriminates or has anything to do with religion.

While commenting on a statement made by U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Hailey in which she said that the USA should never trust Russia, Zakharova pointed out that "if you feel that you don't trust someone, they you should test them in order to build trust".

"He [President Trump] is saying, let's temporarily pause, and you prove to me that the vetting is okay, that I can trust these people coming through for the American people".

In January, White House strategist Steve Bannon was seen getting coffee at Trump Tower with French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, a populist figure who is seen as having Trump-like disruptive potential for French politics.

U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley warned that the US should take the Russian threat "seriously" in her first interview since gaining the post.

But Haley told Matt Lauer she was not disturbed by those revelations, especially now that she's an ambassador herself.

"I'm not going to comment on any of that", Haley said.

"I'm not going to comment on any of that", she said.

Haley also was asked about the allegation Trump made in a tweet earlier this month that accused former President Obama of wiretapping his phones during the election campaign, and then failing to provide any evidence of the claim.

Haley said Trump has never told her to "not to slam Russia" in the course of her work.

"He is our president, Matt".

'I really don't, ' she said. "I just know that's who he is".

"Isn't that the one where Russians infiltrate our government?" another user posted, while some wondered if Haley was using the series to try to find out more about Trump.
