Lure of the All Blacks hits Jones

Lure of the All Blacks hits Jones

The report suggested the match could be worth an extra $1.75m to New Zealand than the Barbarians fixture if Kiwi bosses hold firm on their revenue-sharing demands.

'We've got a very important series against the British and Irish Lions and that's a primary focus for us.

The two nations have not met since 2014, when England toured the Land of the Long White Cloud in a three-Test summer series along with an autumn worldwide return Test at Twickenham, and England haven't beaten the All Blacks since their famous 38-21 home victory in December 2012.

The All Blacks have confirmed tests against France on November 11 in Paris, followed by Scotland and Wales.

Now that England has equalled the test record there are talks of arranging a match as England aren't scheduled to play against New Zealand until November 2018.

England are not due to face New Zealand until 2018 but a meeting earlier would generate worldwide interest and potentially £12m for the Rugby Football Union from gate receipts, sponsorship and hospitality.

Further obstacles are presented by the need to negotiate with the Aviva Premiership clubs for player release and concerns over player welfare that will accompany any decision to add the All Blacks to an autumn fixture list that already includes Australia, Argentina and Samoa.

Victory over Ireland would see the champions defend the grand slam and surpass the All Blacks' record of 18 straight Test wins, setting the scene for a mouth-watering collision against Steve Hansen's men.

New Zealand Rugby chief executive Steve Tew has desribed the possibility of such a match as "highly unlikely".

However the World Cup-winning coach was later forced to go on the defensive when Jones compared him to the Big Bad Wolf.

They get the chance to claim the mark for themselves when they play Ireland in the Six Nations finale in Dublin this weekend.

Now the VR experiences won't be available to download (though they will be downloadable at some point later in 2017) so those who want to give these new experiences a try will need to do one of two things.

"We really enjoyed working in partnership with O2 to develop this unique virtual reality experience", England defence coach Paul Gustard said. He said: 'People are desperate for England and the All Blacks to play.
