Andromeda filled with poor animations, no day 1 patch

Andromeda filled with poor animations, no day 1 patch

Mass Effect: Andromeda's Early Access installments went live this week. From the looks of things, BioWare will likely gauge player reaction after the game releases to see how much demand there is for something like that.

The facial animation issues, too, will not be corrected in time for Mass Effect: Andromeda's launch, with BioWare instead stating it's too late for a day one patch addition and that the contents of future patches is yet to be determined. Some Mass Effect fans are fightin' mad about the janky animations, and a small subset of trolls and malcontents have chose to target a specific BioWare employee over them. Responding directly to the firm's statement, Ralph said that Leost's social media pages, which listed her as a lead facial animator for Mass Effect: Andromeda, as well as BioWare's official statement, were in-congruent. This tweet denies her being an EA employee as well. Others, including Ralph himself, were more unforgiving, suggesting that Leost might have even called in sexual favors to earn her position at the developer's animation studios, according to a Kotaku report. Allie Rose-Marie Leost worked in EA's Vancouver-based motion capture labs, and a GamerGate-affiliated website that doesn't deserve any extra exposure singled her out as the cause of the busted faces, claiming she was Andromeda's lead facial animator. After all these happenings, she has changed her twitter account and it's evident by her LinkedIn Account that she has never been a Facial Animator at EA ever.
