Celebrities Who Support Donald Trump? Tim Allen Likens Hollywood To 30s Germany

"I'm not attacking you", joked Kimmel in response to Allen, who portrays a conservative on ABC's Last Man Standing.

Check out the clip from last night's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! If you're not part of the group, "You know what we believe is right", I go, "Well, I might have a problem with that"'. I don't know what happened ...!

Is Hollywood, the land of glitz and glamor, really the bastion of free thought and tolerance that American liberals claim it is?

Probably best known for his 1990s sitcom Home Improvement, The Santa Clause series of holiday films and as the voice of cartoon space ranger Buzz Lightyear, Allen now stars on the TV comedy Last Man Standing. While those in the hills of Hollywood continue to use award speeches to eviscerate the president, Trump supporters continue to accuse tinsel town actors of being out of touch.

Allen didn't sound so dire during the Republican primaries, when the Hollywood Reporter asked whether he vented his political views through his character.

The proud Republican, who attended the inauguration of President Donald Trump, said actors are too scared to speak their minds in La La Land. "That show teaches so many things he needs to know, which thing is bigger than the other, how to spell, the importance of telling the truth and sharing, listening to others, maybe throw in some school house rock, he could find out how government works".

Whatever Allen said, and however much he meant it, good for him for speaking his mind.

"But if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And it gets a bit hypocritical for me". After the election, on Fox News, Allen compared Trump to an amateur performer with "very bad comic timing".

"You get bullied into a position, but I don't want to defend the guy", Allen explained.
