LBA gears up for egg hunt

The event will feature an appearance by the Easter bunny.

Each year, for the past 14 years, members of the LBA have donated four dozen candy-filled eggs for the hunt and this year could see even more eggs ready for finding, Bass noted.

The Canyon Lake Family Matters Club is hosting its third annual Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1, from 5 to 8 p.m.at Holiday Harbor Park.

"At the Easter egg hunt that Tuesday, the Lakefield Girl Scouts will be providing some fun activities for the kids to do in the Pleasantview gym as they wait for the hunt to start at 5:30 p.m.", Bass said.

This is not just any Easter egg hunt, however.

But while you can pick up many Easter eggs for a couple of pounds, this one will set you back a whopping £24.99 on Amazon. Participants must RSVP by 6 p.m. on March 31. On April 8, Babcock Presbyterian Church, located at 25 Maxson Hill Road in Ashaway, will be holding its annual egg hunt for children aged six to 12. Only one parent will be allowed to enter with their child when designated except for the baby group in which two parents will be allowed.
