College Student Hilariously Smacks Down White Supremacist Richard Spencer

The university previously said that doing so would create unsafe conditions.

And Spencer did not fail to deliver the kind of inflammatory speech that had raised concerns among many members of the Auburn community and beyond last week. He added that "white people are f*****g awesome".

Spencer heralded the victory by tweeting out a video of himself standing in front of the federal courthouse in Montgomery and calling it "a moment to savor" and "a great victory for free speech".

Spencer shook his head: "Seriously, try to get a little more creative".

Free speech or hate speech?

Spencer said his rhetoric disrupts "business as usual", which is why his "enemies", like the "communist scum outside" fight him.

"I'm not going to allow that to happen", Spencer told the Plainsman, Auburn's student newspaper, after the cancellation announcement. As he spoke to a full room of about 400 people, three people (two men and a woman) outside were arrested for fighting.

The ruling was made by U.S. District Judge W. Keith Watkins just hours before Spencer's scheduled appearance on campus, which he had pledged to make despite the university's decision to revoke their permit of his event. "Auburn is engaging in a thinly disguised ideological litmus test by which those sharing its official views find their rights protected while those who challenge the Auburn views have their right to freedom of speech canceled base [sic] on some anonymous telephone threats".

As the law enforcement agency for Auburn University, the Auburn Police Division headed security efforts surrounding Spencer's talk on campus at James E. Foy Hall.

This afternoon, a federal judge ruled that Auburn must allow Spencer to speak in the Foy Auditorium tonight. A crowd of several hundred had gathered on campus by early evening, monitored by dozens of police officers with police dogs. AltRight.com has reported a prevalence of Kek-related propaganda scattered throughout the campus while campus leftists have scheduled a music festival from 5-10pm in an attempt to draw attention away from Spencer.

"The alt-right is about being a white person, being a European in the 21st century", he said.
