Samsung working on Bixby Voice Commands early for preview

Samsung working on Bixby Voice Commands early for preview

Vivo, China-based smartphone maker which is popular for its selfie-centric smartphones in India, seems to have found a way to integrate the fingerprint scanner into the display.

Posted to Chinese social network Weibo and, the images and clips show the now-familiar, bezel-crushing curves of the Infinity Display, though in this case the size goes beyond even what the can offer. The video below shows off Vivo's fingerprint scanner technology and it does look really great. It was later revealed that Samsung meant to place the fingerprint scanner on the front glass but couldn't get the tech to work before release.

Samsung Note 8 will be the first handset of Samsung which will support a Dual rear camera that is vertically aligned, similar to Apple's new upcoming iPhone 8. And if brands can pull it off intuitively, then we might see the on-screen fingerprint display becoming a mainstay feature of all smartphones in the near future, right from medium rangers to high end premium phones.

Another report, on the other hand, suggested that Xiaomi and Huawei are also looking to release a new smartphone with the on-screen fingerprint sensor.

However, to take the crown of "best phone of the year" the Galaxy Note 8 will have to beat its popular sibling - the Galaxy S8. It's just like Samsung to try and make their own version of something so they can lock people into their own ecosystem. The source also claimed that Samsung poured its resources in the tech's development, only to be met with "frustrating" results.

Rumor is Apple is also working on placing the fingerprint scanner on the front glass of the iPhone. This video is adding a new level on the rumors of beneath display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo might not be as popular as Apple or Samsung, but the company is selling a lot of phones. In smartphone industry, Samsung and Apple are the leaders and naturally bear the responsibility of brining the latest technology.

The leak is accompanied by an image of the phone that reportedly comes with this feature.
