Grace Lutheran VBS is set for July 16-19

Patterson Street Free Will Baptist Church will hold a Musicians Appreciation service on Sunday, July 16, at 2:30 p.m.

Middletown Presbyterian Church: 273 S. Old Middletown Road, celebrates blended contemporary/traditional worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The theme is "The Good Christian Man Goes the Distance".

Gethsemane Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2380 Blackberry Road in Bassett, will have Vacation Bible School from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 14.

Many metro-area churches are offering vacation Bible school during the summer months. The theme is "Thank You for Your Faithful Guidance". Call the church office to register, 576-4106.

∫ Northland Baptist Church, 8916 US-23 South Ossineke, will hold Vacation Bible School Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. -1 p.m. with Pastor Greg Lepianka. Registration runs from 5-6 p.m., with dinner at 5:30 p.m.; activities run from 6-8 p.m. and include Bible stories, music, crafts and games. There will be classes for children in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. For more information, call (276)-673-6355.

■ Holly Hill Original Free Will Baptist Church, 755 Porter Road, will host its 11th annual men's conference at 7 p.m. Friday. Music starts at 7 p.m.

Plainview Methodist Church will host 9 a.m. Sunday school and 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday.

Church Without Walls, with Elder Moses and Lady Shawan Barr, will be in fellowship at Christ Miracle Temple, 932 Arnett Blvd., Danville, at 3 p.m. Sunday. Prayer meetings will be at 4 p.m., Bible study will be at 5 p.m. and worship service will be at 6 p.m. The Rev. Haywood Gray, executive secretary-treasurer of the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, will be guest speaker.

Cones Road Missionary Baptist Church, 405 Cones Road, will have the Sunday school lesson "The Lamb of God Who Takes Away Our Sin" at 9:45 a.m. Brother David Roark will speak on "To Save Them that Believe" at 11:20 a.m. Sunday. That will be held at Mount Zion United Holy Church, 461 Figsboro Road, at a cost of $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.

It will be held from 5 p.m.to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Temple of Brotherly Love CC Church: 1136 Highland Ave., Chester, holds Sunday morning services at 10:15. Proceeds benefit church community ministries. Church officials just ask that people use the ramp entrance at the back of the building to come in.

106th Church Anniversary, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Howell, Ga.

Plainview Methodist Church will host a potluck at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

■ House of Judah, 3867 W. Wilson St., Farmville, will host Minister Melvin Hines at 11 a.m. Sunday for a youth service.
