Apple Unveils 2017 Back to School Promo in the United States, Canada

Apple Unveils 2017 Back to School Promo in the United States, Canada

You can choose from the Solo3, Powerbeats3, or BeatsX earphones on the purchase of a Mac.

This year, students at the Apple Store can get a pair of Beats Solo3 headphones, Powerbeats 3 or BeatsX bundled with Macs and iPad Pro purchases.

Apple's 2017 Back to School promotion is available through the company's online store for education, Apple retail stores, and Apple authorized campus stores. Considering you're getting $200 headphones with that purchase, it's a pretty nice deal altogether. The deals are only open to students, parents purchasing on behalf of their child who is attending or has been accepted to college, faculty members of K-12 and higher education institutions, and homeschool teachers. The cheapest MacBook Pro (often the number-one pick for students) is $50 off, but you can normally find it for cheaper at resellers like B&H.

Apple isn't offering deep discounts on computers or tablets.

This promotion will run through September 25, but students can always save on Macs, iPads, and Apple Music subscriptions with educational pricing.

It seems Apple knows the true value of its student sale lie in the discounted Apple Music subscription and free Beats phones - ask anyone who's done their share of all-nighters and they'll testify to the value of a good pair of headphones and better playlist.
