SDCC 2017: Arrow Season 6 Trailer Released

Arrow's fifth season finale left fans on the edge of their seats with a mind-blowing cliff-hanger as the fates of the majority of the characters were left in the balance after Prometheus set off explosives across Lian Yu. After the casts of Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash and Black Lightning take to the stage to discuss their upcoming seasons, the Arrow team will make their way to the stage at 5:50 p.m. local time for the show's always eventful panel! Well, a new sizzle reel for Arrow answers some of those questions, though by no means all of them.

"Oliver's not a very good dad", Stephen said. But fan-favorite villain-turned-hero (?) Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) also survived. We'll find out this fall!

The cast also revealed that Vigilante is someone we know, and announced the casting of Lost's Michael Emerson in a mystery role - possibly Cayden James - but it is yet to be confirmed. The Emmy®-winning actor is known worldwide for playing both the enigmatic Benjamin Linus from Lost and the high-tech billionaire Harold Finch in Warner Bros. Television's Person of Interest.

Hopefully season 6 of Arrow won't focus too many episodes on Oliver's son blaming him for having the crappiest weekend getaway ever, when it kicks off on October 12. Based on the DC characters, the series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Wendy Mericle and Sarah Schechter.
