La fazione repubblicana del governo statunitense ha intanto invitato alla calma nel tentativo di evitare lo scoppio di un conflitto armato che potrebbe rivelarsi costoso da un punto di vista economico ma non solo. E anche se Mattis ha assicurato che gli Usa stanno comunque "lavorando a una soluzione diplomatica" convinti che Pyongyang "perderebbe" ogni tipo di guerra, la Corea del Nord non sembra avere intenzione di abbassare i toni. La Corea del Nord, alcuni giorni fa, ha caricato due missili anti-nave "Stormpetrel" su un vascello nella zona della costa orientale, precisa la Fox.
