Large inflatable chicken stares down White House

Large inflatable chicken stares down White House

Wednesday afternoon on Fox News, Shep Smith was confused by a giant inflatable chicken. You could see the inflatable in the corner of TV crews' shots of the White House.

The phrasing comes from the well-known "God, Country, Corps" saying used by United States marines.

While the chicken, which has an uncanny resemblance to Trump, can bee seen outside of the White House, it appeared without explanation or message attached.

On eBay, there's a 10-foot "Donald trump chicken mascot golden hair" inflatable on sale for $500.

It was put there by protesters arguing Trump should release his tax returns.

Singh Brar spent five months putting together "Chicken Don", as the fowl installation is titled, and obtained a permit from the U.S. Secret Service for the public protest.

Brar told RT's Alex Rubenstein that he hatched the plan to bring his "chicken Don" to DC in March.

Images of a chicken with a Trump-like coiffure spread on social media and then to news outlets across the nation. This blow-up poultry also had hands making gestures similar to some of the ones that Trump's been known to make.

The chicken also resembles one used to commemorate the Year of the Rooster in China in January.

The president was not at the White House on Wednesday as he is now on vacation in New Jersey.

Trump is now on a 17-day vacation in Bedminister, New Jersey.
