Toilet: Ek Prem Katha First day box office collections

Akshay had met the Hollywood star during the Dubai at the Global Teachers Prize 2016. So much so that even global media is in awe of the superstar. Let us all wait to see if Akshay Kumar breaks this jinx or not. But, it seems like Akshay Kumar's "Toilet Ek Prem Katha" is set to break the curse and emerge as a blockbuster.

The traditional Indian cinema overseas market comprises some 50 territories including the U.S., U.K., U.A.E, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore. Now on 11th August his Toilet - Ek Prem Katha has opened on similar lines, what with 13.10 crores coming on. Among the 22 in Europe are: Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary, Malta, Croatia, Estonia and Latvia. The film has released in almost 3,000 screens. The film has earned Rs 13.10 crore at the domestic Box Office. However, the collections are relatively lower as compared to Akshay Kumar's Rustom as well Brothers, a film which released around the same time as Toilet around two years ago. The numbers from the opening day of the film have come in and here they are.

The movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is receiving good response from both audience and from the critics of the film industry. The film is not an usual concept for Bollywood, which makes the odds of the film doing well in the box office could be a concern. Sat and Sun look better... It will also benefit from the long Independence Day extended holiday.

It has now come to light that Toilet - Ek Prem Katha is doing well even on Saturday [Day 2] and has registered around 20-25% growth. The film features Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the major roles.
