Tom Cruise Has Been Injured On The Set 'Mission: Impossible 6'

American actor Tom Cruise appears to have suffered an injury while filming Mission: Impossible 6.

A video posted on YouTube shows the star landing hard in a building-to-building jump on the London set of the film and limping after getting to his feet.

The 55-year-old actor, who has performed his own stunts for years, slammed into a building as part of a stunt on Sunday, but it did not go as planned.

He then crouched down with his palm to his forehead, assessing the amount of pain he was in and chose to limp back to the edge of the building as if nothing happened.

Robert Elswit, director of photography for 2015's "Rogue Nation", said Cruise will "figure out a way to do" any stunt himself. The extent of the injury are unclear.

In video obtained by TMZ, Cruise is attached to a harness while making the leap.

Cruise is connected to wires at the time, so there was likely no real risk of a fall during the stunt. According to TIME, Cruise previously filmed a stunt on a roof before but that time it was in Paris. "He said that's why he does it; it's all about entertaining an audience and it makes the movie better".

"Plus, you want to live through it".

Mission Impossible 6 is slated to be released next year.

We won't be seeing the new Mission Impossible movie until summer 2018 and it promises to be exactly the same as the previous 5 Mission Impossible movies! Also starring are Henry Cavill, Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Bassett and Alec Baldwin.
