Starbucks celebrating return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte all weekend long

Coming soon for pumpkin fanatics, QT will bring back its popular fall coffee items, the Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Frappe, available at all QT Kitchen locations.

As a classic fall favourite of over fourteen years, this unstoppable drink sensation is showing no signs of slowing down; however, it is always fun to try new things.

While thousands of people stare at a straw-covered pen, waiting for Starbucks to announce the return of its famed Pumpkin Spice Latte during its PSL Hatch Livestream, others are already sipping the real deal.

Turmeric is an ancient spice that has recently been gaining a lot of popularity over social media (Google even called it a "breakout star" in 2016) for its vibrant, golden hue and mega-healing properties.

When you look at the actual launch dates of Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte, however, they're pretty consistent. Unofficially, PSL season has started at Starbucks. Starbucks baristas are so sick of people's obsession with the drink that they've started an online thread just to offer one another emotional support.

In 2016, the PSL-a coffee drink topped with pumpkin pie flavor and seasoned with cinnamon, ginger, clove, and nutmeg-went on sale September 1 at most locations, even though the "official" availability date was September 6. Business Insider charted out the release date of the PSL over the past few years, finding that it typically drops during the first week of September.
