William and Catherine expecting again

Early Monday morning, September 4, Kensington Palace announced that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their third child.

Will and Kate already have two children, Prince George who is 4 and Princess Charlotte who is 2. "The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace".

The news comes as the young royal family prepares for an exciting milestone.

Kensington Palace made the announcement in a statement on Monday.

Kate is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a form of severe morning sickness, and will not carry out her engagements today, it said.

Their choice of Thomas's Battersea in south London indicated that the Cambridges were settling into their Kensington Palace apartment, having moved recently from their Norfolk home Anmer Hall. Prince William and Duchess Kate, who married in 2011, are expected to be accompanying their son to school, where they will be met by the Head of Lower School, Helen Haslem. Royal watchers recorded every aside for clues as to what the plans might be.

Kate thanked the well-wisher for the present and turned to William.

Closer Weekly previously reported that she was rushed to hospital several weeks ago for an unknown reason, and was released the following day.

Betting on a third child for William and Kate began to take off in the run-up to Charlotte's christening when the princess was only nine weeks old.
