PSG president says nothing to hide over summer transfers

PSG president says nothing to hide over summer transfers

French youngster, Kylian Mbappe said he made the decision to join Paris Saint-Germain because of the club's ambition as he set his sight on the Champions League title.

Mbappe said that at the end of last season he had chose to stay with Monaco, "but certain events happened which made me change my mind".

"My price is anecdotal - it will not weigh me down". "It is extraordinary to play with him (Neymar)".

"And win right away".

The 18-year-old will make his Euro debut against Celtic on Tuesday and reckons Unai Emery's side can go all the way.

"He is an additional advantage", he said. These are players who for the most part have won everything already, it's going to be a rewarding experience.

"For me, it was important to come back to my town".

Having signed his first professional contract with the principality club he matured into a 26-goal striker last season as he helped Monaco land the Ligue 1 title and reach the Champions League semi-finals, leading to a call from PSG which he found too tempting to turn down.

"Legally, I think the club is violating the Professional Football Charter", Bertrand told AFP.

Subsequently, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and PSG all battled over the summer for his signature.

"I will speak about it very soon and say everything that happened. He is a passionate coach and transmits that to us players".

After splashing out 222 million euros for Neymar, PSG concluded a complicated deal for Mbappe which prompted UEFA to announce a day later that it was looking into whether the club had broken financial fair play rules.

"It's a big loss for the club, because we know how much Neymar brought into the team with the skills and the talent that he has", said Mendieta.

"We're very confident in our position, in our recruitment", Al Khelaifi said.
