Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez hits out at critics

With Wenger sabotaging Sanchez's move to Manchester City, the Chilean will have to play the rest of the season till the winter transfer window.

Wenger was prepared to let Sanchez leave if they could bring in a world class replacement to the name of Monaco livewire Thomas Lemar, but the France worldwide opted to stay at he Ligue 1 giants after late offers from Arsenal and Liverpool were accepted.

"'Too expensive, too greedy, bad body language, and lacking fight' - this is what people have said about me".

"But he is strong mentally and hopefully he will be back very quickly to his best".

There were some notable non-movers when the summer transfer window came to a close last week, with Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez, Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho and Leicester's Riyad Mahrez among those for whom no deal materialised.

"The transfer market is over, there was a lot going on". The most important for us now is to focus on the next game.

Arsenal were the subject of severe criticism from pundits and former players after they were hammered 4-0 by Liverpool in their last game.

"You get tired of being criticised with reason and without reason, you get tired of wanting to be defeated, you get tired of saying to yourself "I'll get up again" after crying after a defeat", he said. 'The thing with Wenger is he is someone who can see talent in young players, if you look at players he made shine it's incredible.

Arsenal have endured a hard start to the season after suffering consecutive defeats at Stoke and Liverpool before the worldwide break so it's imperative we get back on track with a win over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon. "It is hard to predict when he will be available again - but it will not be before Christmas". Year in and out we sat there when the window was open and slowly watch our club fall down the ladder where other Clubs were climbing up the ladder.
