Clinton Says She Is 'Done With Being a Candidate'

Clinton Says She Is 'Done With Being a Candidate'

Get ready, Jared Huffman, there's another news cycle about Hillary Clinton today.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton gave a stern and straightforward response during a 2014 CNN interview about how she thought the country's immigration laws should be executed, particularly when it came to children of undocumented immigrants, according to Mediaite.

"Yes, as an active politician it's over", Hillary told her, much to the relief of Democratic party leaders.

However, Clinton added she was not finished with politics entirely because our "future is at stake". She then weighed in on Trump's speech, calling it "a cry from the white nationalist gut".

Clinton said she's still in pain from losing the election, perhaps because of her belief that Trump wasn't and isn't prepared to be president.

"What you're saying is millions of white people", Pauley interrupted. "I think the most important of the mistakes I made was using personal email".

But if Hillary had really wanted to avoid the threat of millions of white people voting, she could have run for office in Communist China, Communist Cuba or Zimbabwe.

"I$3 n each state, there were more than enough Stein voters to swing the result, just like Ralph Nader did in Florida and New Hampshire in 2000", Clinton says.

"So, there I was on the platform", she remembered, not bothering to suppress a laugh. But there was one person who could help her cope: Bill. I was just gobsmacked.

Clinton said she realizes her campaign strategy was all wrong for the moment.

She said the word "deplorable" was floating around in her head because 'Trump was behaving in a deplorable manner'.

Promoting a new book that details her surprise defeat in last year's presidential election, Ms Clinton said attending the inauguration ceremony of the man who defeated her was "like an out-of-body experience".

The other basket was filled with "friends" who felt the government and the economy had let them down, Clinton explained, encouraging her supporters to bring those Trump supporters over to her side.

Clinton, often described as a cold calculator, has also recognized the bad void she felt after her surprise defeat, and this despite a wide lead in the popular vote.

Discussing her life just after the election, Clinton told a concerned-looking Pauley, "Off I went into a frenzy of closet cleaning. But then, midnight, I decided, 'well - you know, looks like it's not going to work'".
