Hector Bellerin: Arsenal can still win Premier League despite hard start

Arsenal will play their first Europa League game in 17 years when we welcome Bundesliga outfit Cologne to the Emirates on Thursday night.

Arsene Wenger revealed that he will take the competition "seriously" but admitted rotation will occur during the group stages as Arsenal look to challenge on all fronts.

The Gunners have endured a mixed start to the Premier League season following two victories and two losses to leave Arsene Wenger's side in mid-table.

"But the most important for me is to win, obviously, and after the goals will come". He is getting stronger and stronger every day.

On Thursday night, at the odd and unfamiliar time of 8:05 p.m. BST, Arsenal's demotion on the European stage will become reality when they kick off their opening game of the Europa League group stage at home to FC Koln.

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech didn't train today as he's set to be rested with David Ospina expected to be given a run of games in the Europe once again this season. Coquelin is out for three weeks.

"We have done that for 20 years and 20 years by doing it in the Premier League".

His "obvious" ability, even in a press conference, became obvious when his first 79-word answer contained the word "obviously" three times.

Asked if he can get back to his best, Wenger replied: "Yes, if he is injury-free he will come back".

Alexis Sanchez should make his first start of the season while Olivier Giroud will also be given the chance to score his 100th goal for Arsenal.

After a poor start to the season Hector Bellerin believes that Arsenal should take inspiration in what Chelsea achieved last season from a similar start.

Wenger has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil will miss the game and be rested with Chelsea at the weekend in mind.

The Hard Tackle, therefore, predicts a hard-fought 1-0 win for the North London outfit to kickstart their Europa League campaign on a positive note.
