How to save mobile data by using Facebook Messenger Lite

How to save mobile data by using Facebook Messenger Lite

You might not have noticed this, but Facebook and Facebook Messenger had different emoji sets.

It is estimated that there would be around 47 million times downloads since launch, led by India and Brazil.

Facebook has finally rolled out Messenger Lite for Android in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Ireland, with the app now available through the Google Play Store. It originally launched in five countries, Kenya, Tunisia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Venezuela, in October 2016. The app has not been introduced to iOS users and according to TechCrunch, Facebook does not even plan to release it for the iPhones.

As for Facebook Messenger, the app has always had its own set of emojis, but according to Android Police, it seems that Facebook has made a decision to revert the emojis back to the same emojis that the Facebook platform uses.

The Lite version of Facebook Messenger includes all of the key features of the messaging tool, but strips out some of the extras such as Day and lenses. While both apps have since proven to be very popular, that didn't stop the social media juggernaut from releasing a Lite version of its chat app late past year, originally aimed at developing markets and low-end phones.

On top of offering its data saving services, the app will also help you save on storage space, as it weighs only 10MB.

Today's expansion marks markets like the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland.

Mr Marcus said people use the apps for different reasons and they are not in direct competition. If it can keep people on Messenger, it's more likely to retain them in the rest of its family of apps. People can also use the app to manage groups. The app that we can call quota-friendly is now downloadable globally from Google Playstore.
