Baristas at Las Vegas shooter's local Starbucks remember him for berating girlfriend

Baristas at Las Vegas shooter's local Starbucks remember him for berating girlfriend

Danley, an Australian citizen reported to have been born in the Philippines, has not been charged in the case and told her family she has a "clean conscience" following the Las Vegas attack, her brother said in an interview with ABC News in the Philippines.

Shortly afterwards she moved to the United States - this is where her history appears more complicated.

Glamorous and youthful, Marilou Danley is the 64-year-old Filipino-Australian friend of Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock.

About a week before the shooting, Paddock reportedly wired $100,000 to the Philippines.

A voicemail recording for Danley's daughter from her first marriage directed reporters to a Los Angeles lawyer, who did not immediately comment.

So far, investigators have found nothing to explain Paddock's actions, but were continuing to hunt and trace every possible clue about a gunman they described as a "psychopath".

Nearly three days after the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history, investigators appear no closer to answering the question: Why?

He used "bump stocks", attachments that allow a semi-automatic rifle to mimic a fully automatic weapon by unleashing an entire large magazine in seconds. The devices are legal under United States law, even though fully automatic weapons are for the most part banned.

"It's a very, very sad day for me, personally", said the 71-year-old.

They eventually determined she was in Tokyo.

Amid sirens and volleys of gunfire, people yelled "they're shooting right at us" while officers shouted "go that way!"

The president congratulated hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico for escaping the higher death toll of "a real catastrophe like Katrina" but added "you've thrown our budget a little out of whack". However, the coroner's office revised the confirmed tally to 58 dead, plus Paddock, on Tuesday night.

When the horrific news broke that Paddock had killed 59 people and injured 527 others from his suite at the Mandalay Bay, Mendoza said everyone at the Starbucks were shocked. At least 20 of the survivors admitted to one of several hospitals in the area, University Medical Center, remained in critical condition on Tuesday, doctors said. Investigators then wanted to know who he knew, and did they know about the attack.

"This is a true feat of heroism on their part", said Ray Rahne of the International Association of Fire Fighters.

Investigators say that the shooting rampage was meticulously planned and included specially modified weapons. "He loved her. I mean he doted on her".

Knights said: 'It seemed like he just looked after my aunty and that was it'. "I will bet any amount of money that they will not find any link to anything. he did this completely by himself".

The paper, citing records from the Nevada Prescription Monitoring Program, reported Tuesday that Paddock was prescribed 50, 10-milligram diazepam tablets by a physician on June 21.
