WWE Hell In A Cell - All the match results

McMahon viciously attacked Owens so bad that "KO" threatened to sue to entire WWE and take over SmackDown Live.

Perhaps the most intriguing encounter on the card is the cage match between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon. Among them will be a tag team title bout as well as a possible epic clash featuring "SmackDown" Commissioner #Shane Mcmahon against superstar Kevin Owens. Could these marquee matchups live up to our expectations? The event had United States Championship title on the line and featured WWE Champion Jinder Mahal as well. Shinsuke has, sadly, struggled on the main roster and in his time on SmackDown he has only delivered one really good match.

As much as I'd like to believe that this would be a good match, history has proven that it's entirely possible for them to mess this up just for the sake of Mahal getting even more heel heat. This, needless to say, is not ideal. After Undertaker won the match, he choke-slammed Edge through the ring from off a ladder, and flames burned out from the hole in the mat, "suggesting that Edge was thrown straight into Hell". Sure, Jinder Mahal is still champion, but WWE Hell in a Cell was (slightly) more thumbs up than thumbs down. WWE managed to screw this build up in two different ways. Rusev should have been given the victory here - Orton doesn't need it, and this is just compensation for him putting over Jinder all Summer. Tye Dillinger was added to the match before the show started.

They risked their bodies - flying out of the ring on multiple occasions to slam each other into the cell.

Owens and the younger McMahon have been feuding for months, and Sunday's Hell in a Cell match was the culmination of that rivalry. Sometimes we get a memorable pile of carnage. In the next match, which proved to be a high-flying yet brutal encounter, The Usos defeated The New Day to become new SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Kofi Kinston is the odd man out tonight, so we get Big E and Xavier Woods taking on Jimmy and Jey. The Usos saw high flying action from both The New Day and The Usos. I know we always ask this, but we appreciate it. They set the tone early that they're not fucking around and they're here to hurt some people. Whenever The Usos and New Day are in the ring together it is pure magic. They go for the Midnight Hour early, but a thrown chair to the face thwarts that plan.

Results: After one hell of a insane Hell in a Cell match brimming with innovation, the Usos handcuffed Xavier Woods and focused on Big E. They did a double splash off the top, but Xavier broke up the pin.

Nakamura should have got the win and the title when he landed a Kinshasa on Mahal's head. Maybe not, but it was great. In a match that was promoted as being a brawl, it certainly lived up to expectations. It's another thing to witness them. Despite the commendable effort, the ending was meh. It'd be the final step in finally washing away the taste of their face-paint babyface run, and the tag team division is heavily skewed toward babyfaces. Another match will have Natalya defending the "SmackDown" Women's title against Charlotte Flair, while AJ Styles will also defend the US Championship against Baron Corbin.

Nakamura's rival for best entrance in WWE, Bobby Roode, picked up his first pay-per-view win, thanks to pulling the tights on the pin better than Dolph Ziggler did early.
