Australian real estate agent tosses shark out of oceanside pool

Hatheier told The ABC she's a regular in the waters in Cronulla and when she heard about the shark, she knew she had to act.

If you're Melissa Hatheier, real estate agent and deadset Aussie legend, you calmly wrestle that shark from the pool and fling it back into the ocean, apparently, all without seeming to break a sweat.

She amazed onlookers by swimming alongside it before calmly lifting it out the pool, over and wall and dropping it into the sea.

"Oh my god, get out - there's a shark!" she yelled.

The woman was seen picking up the shark before gently throwing it back into the ocean.

The video posted on Cronulla Real Estate's Facebook page garnered over 100,000 views and 900 shares at the time of publishing this article.

"He was getting stressed because he was bumping into the rocks and I was thinking I just need to put him back where he is meant to be". I just thought I would try and catch him.

"I herded him into the shallows, got him between my knees and just lifted him out", Hatheier told the Today Show.

She added: "I thought, as long as I keep my hand near its fins it couldn't bite me; I wouldn't have grabbed it by the tail though. I just threw him over the edge of the pool into the water and watched him swim away", she explained, News.com.au reported.

Then again, turns out the woman in question, Melissa Hatheier, is a real estate agent, so, you know, (insert joke about fellow predatory species here).
