Celebrity couple opts for no Christmas presents

Celebrity couple opts for no Christmas presents

With her upbeat attitude and determination, Kunis (along with Kutcher) is raising children who will be an asset to the future.

And while she and Ashton won't be hooking up their kids with a bunch of goodies under the tree, she's not cutting off their grandparents entirely: they can give one gift.

Kunis told "Entertainment Tonight" they do not want their children to grow up accustomed to getting extravagant gifts. The couple is big on teaching their kids life lessons early on, and Kunis said she's passing those values on to little Wyatt: "What I want my daughter to learn from me is the value of hard work".

Mila Kunis raked in a whopping 11 million USA dollars previous year, coming in at number nine on the list of the world's highest-paid actresses.

Born in communist Russian Federation, which Kunis described as a place where "you're not allowed to be happy", the actress, who is Jewish, explained how Christmas became part of her life.

Santa Claus is not coming to town for the Kutcher kids this year.

"Past year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two and it was too much", she said.

"Yeah, we're not gonna raise a***holes!" she said.

"We come to America and we're like, 'Christmas is so inclusive, '" Kunis told ET.

Kunis said she and Kutcher each asked their parents to limit the gift-giving to one present this year. The kid no longer appreciates the one gift. Whether it's Easter, which we've now all accepted into our Jewish household, or Christmas, it doesn't matter. "They don't even know what they're expecting; they're just expecting stuff".

That's the family's newest way to celebrate the time for good cheer.

If their parents get them presents, they can only get one.
