Nokia 8 Won't Launch in the US

Nokia 8 Won't Launch in the US

"This certainly confirms that over a million Nokia Android smartphones are active in the market and this doesn't include Nokia 6 from markets like China where Play Store is not officially accessible", Nokia Power User said in a report earlier this week. Having teamed up with HMD Global, the Nokia brand is once again emblazoned across a whole range of new smartphones. And now coming after the Nokia 8, this Nokia 9 could be more powerful. The Nokia 9 is in the pipeline for a future release. Nokia 9 is further expected to come with dual cameras at the back.

The new flagship smartphone Nokia 9 is expected to be priced within the price range of Euro 750 which is equivalent to Rs. 55,100.

As per our sources, Nokia is jumping on the "thin bezel" bandwagon with Nokia 9. However, the Nokia 9 is missing on the fingerprint scanner in the front. The phone will have a 5.5-inch, bezel-less, QHD display. Moving on to the bottom, you can see the USB Type-C port flanked by speaker grilles and primary mic. The phone will probably feature 4 GB RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB storage to choose from. "I apologize for the disappointing information, but please stay tuned for future United States based devices, as we are developing the portfolio".

Details on pricing and availability weren't given, but a leak from earlier this week suggested that the Nokia 9 might be announced sometime in early 2018 alongside the budget-friendly Nokia 2 and the mid-range Nokia 7, according to Phone Arena. From the images, it appears that the Nokia 9 phone would have a curved display, something similar to the Galaxy S8. However, as per as its price is concerned, as it will be a flagship device, it will cost more as compare to Nokia's other devices.
