Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition, here are the details

Unveiled yesterday, the new Enterprise Edition of Samsung's Galaxy Note8 smartphone was created to balance business security and productivity needs with employee expectations for a consumer-friendly experience, the company said. In the United Kingdom, you only need an unlocked device.

Available now through Samsung channel partners, the Note8 Enterprise Edition is priced at $994 and arrives unlocked so businesses can go with the wireless carrier of their choice. With exciting feature in it, the update is designed for all devices available in South Korea and on SKT, KT, LG U+, and T-Mobile or locked on Sprint in the US.

Galaxy Note 8 is priced at 1.09 million won ($979). "More than a phone, it's a set of tools and assurances for the IT organization that help them stay on track, from deployment through the entire lifecycle of the mobile device".

To support an otherwise highly appraised handset, the introduction of the Android 8.0 Oreo beta for the Galaxy S8 has elevated proceedings even further.

Samsung told PCMag that updates will be pushed out to devices soon. The beta was only opened on 2 November, although Samsung is saying that additional waves of registrations will be opened at a later date. To check for updates, head into Settings System updates on your phone.

On the security side, Samsung said that the Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition will come with regular monthly security updates for up to three years. It is worth noting that the special edition users can also have the luxury to use Samsung DeX. Speaking of the display, it's the same 6.3-inch quad-HD version, and like the consumer-focused model, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 CPU.
