A spokesperson for the former National Basketball Association player released a statement to E!

In the video, the former LA Laker can be seen slumping to the floor in a V.I.P. booth as security guards rush to his side. Thankfully, Lamar's eyes are open at the end of the short video, suggesting he was conscious.

Lamar was at Bootsy Bellows on the Sunset Strip and a witness told TMZ that he had been drinking "for several hours" before his collapse at around 2 a.m.

Later that day, Odom's publicist Eve Sarkisyan told Us Weekly that her client is now "doing great", explaining that his earlier behavior stemmed from dehydration.

"Lamar is doing well", a representative told E!

The man once married to Khloe Kardashian has a bad track record with losing consciousness: Two years ago, he went into a coma and almost died after an overdose at a brothel in Nevada. Marquina detailed the incident from 2015, noting Odom was previously hospitalized and placed into an induced coma. Odom had been working out quite a bit earlier in the day and didn't drink enough fluids.

Here's hoping Odom is O.K. and he has the help he needs. They also noted that it was hot inside the club. "Being in the moment is important-how you react, respond, create", he added.
