Burgundy Red Galaxy S8 launched in Korea

Burgundy Red Galaxy S8 launched in Korea

Just as we informed you less than a week ago, the flashy new Burgundy Red version of the Galaxy S8 become official today, November 28, as Samsung unwrapped the neat new color option on its official blog.

Now the smartphone is unveiled in Korean market only.

The new, luxurious hue accentuates the elegance of the Galaxy S8's ergonomic glass and metal form, creating a seamless and refined aesthetic that will resonate with a wide range of tastes. The only change in this variant is the new color, all other specifications and hardware are same as the original version. In terms of pricing, a similar price tag to the original Galaxy J5 Prime (2016) is expected, so expect the Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) to set you back around $200. The front side of the phone is the same, but we have a dark red color on the back, which I think contrasts very well.

Motorola's Moto Z2 Play is one of the most highlighted smartphones from the company.

Remember, this update is only for the unlocked Note 8 and should not be installed on other variants. But as noted, it will take time before all Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro users receive the OTA notification.

The smartphone makes use of a Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space that can be further expanded with the help of a microSD card as there is a hybrid SIM slot on board. Galaxy S8 has a 12 MP primary camera sensor, with f/1.7 aperture.

The Galaxy S8 is also available in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold. Granted, not all of these are available in all markets as the Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, and Orchid Grey being the most widespread ones.
