Golden State Warriors guard Shaun Livingston suspended, official disciplined

Golden State Warriors guard Shaun Livingston suspended, official disciplined

Shaun Livingston (rest) is for some reason being listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Pelicans.

As you can see in video of the forehead-to-forehead incident below, Kirkland clearly moves in Livingston's direction rather than walking away from him.

The NBA penalized Warriors guard Shaun Livingston with a one-game suspension and official Courtney Kirkland for their role in what the league called "an on-court altercation" during the Warriors' game on Sunday in Miami.

Livingston has averaged 11.0 FanDuel points in 15.2 minutes per game this season.

Kirkland has been suspended for one week and will be eligible to officiate games starting on December 11th. But this was the odd case where the official assumed partial responsibility, and was therefore also disciplined by the National Basketball Association. The Warriors floor general was tossed with one technical at the 6:24 mark of the second quarter, making that the first ejection of his career.

Shams Charania of The Vertical reported the news Monday, noting Kirkland will also be "removed" for a week.

Kirkland and Livingston got in each other's noses after Livingston complained about two foul calls when operating in the high-post.
