LaVar Ball pulls Lonzo Ball's brother LiAngelo Ball from UCLA

LaVar Ball pulls Lonzo Ball's brother LiAngelo Ball from UCLA

By doing this, LaVar Ball will only enhance the skepticism that his youngest son, five-star point guard LaMelo Ball, will never wind up playing for UCLA. LaVar Ball, LiAngelo's father, told ESPN's Jeff Goodman that he has pulled his son out of the school.

The three players have remained indefinitely suspended by the program. That sparked a very public back-and-forth exchange between the celebrity-in-chief and LaVar, with Trump tweeting, "I should have left them in jail" and calling the outspoken hoops dad an "ungrateful fool" for not thanking him. President Trump, who was on a tour of Asia, personally intervened with President Xi Jinping of China to get the issue settled.

LaVar Ball said LiAngelo Ball "wasn't punished this bad in China".

His older brother, Lonzo, played one year at UCLA before declaring for the NBA Draft.

Though there have been signs of stardom for Lonzo Ball - he became the youngest player in National Basketball Association history to record a triple double - he has had an uneven rookie season, shooting just over 30% from the floor.

According to ESPN, Riley, Hill and LiAngelo Ball were subject to review for possible violations to UCLA's Student Conduct Code. The NCAA was asked by ESPN about the matter and said, "Generally speaking, a college athlete or prospect paid for use of their athletics reputation or ability risks their future eligibility in that sport".
