Chelsea ace Hazard: Morata a little hurt, but he's happy in London

Chelsea ace Hazard: Morata a little hurt, but he's happy in London

Morata hasn't featured since Chelsea's FA Cup third round tie against Norwich City on January 17, with the Spanish global due to miss Monday's encounter with West Brom.

Alvaro Morata has hinted he could return to Real Madrid in an interview to be aired in Spain on Monday. "Now I think this is not important to say "we could have done this" or "we should have done that", the Italian manager said. I don't know [when he will return] because he has this problem. If you ask me, he needs a month, a day, two months, the rest of the season.

Conte's side are now struggling for results as well - they've lost their last two league games 3-0 and 4-1 - so fans are hoping Morata isn't out for too much longer.

'We struggle to find the solution and to solve the pain in his back. I don't know. For this reason, I'm a bit anxious.

Blues midfielder Eden Hazard has also recently praised the La Liga's top scorer, telling Marca: "You know, they have a guy who is not from this world".

Asked about a possible return to Real Madrid in the future, Morata told Spanish television: "I have to respect Chelsea who have made a great effort for me".

Chelsea fans will not be happy to hear their star striker talking up Real, with the goalscorer now unavailable for selection.

Premier League star has admitted that he would always be more than open for a move to Real Madrid.

Morata may be happy at Stamford Bridge, but he only joined six months ago and is already thinking about returning to Real someday.

"Looking at our squad, we may be missing a number nine", said Zidane in September.
